Tough (Question) Tuesday Can you send me some virtual love Keep Calm and Fight On Breast Cancer Awareness Print by Smiles and Squiggles It had to happen sometime: using Tough (Question) Tuesday for selfish reasons. Today turns out to be the time! Im scheduled to be at the hospital for my lumpectomy this morning at 6:15a Eastern. As its an outpatient procedure and the surgery itself takes just an hour, I should be heading back to my Moms by noon-ish to recover. While Im feeling optimistic about the results and thanks to my favorite hippy-dippy Jess Swift I keep visualizing my boobs being filled up by big 70s-like smiley faces- Ill absolutely take any and all virtual love ya got for me: prayers, good thoughts, meditations, yoga practices, good luck charms, the wearing of pink ribbons, whatever you believe and whatever floats your boat. And while Ill be out of commission for the rest of the week (except for my client sessions, which are too much of a bright spot for me to cancel preemptively) and might not be able to respond, Ill be checking the comments and my twitter feed and my Facebook page for, well, anything you wanna say or do.
